enable your native tux PDF printer
October 1st, 2007 at 9:28am |
Ubuntu linux comes with a native integrated PDF printer witch enables you to print a PDF file from everywhere (at least from every program that has the print command).
At this stage of Ubuntu 7,10 development this printer is however not enabled by default.
To enable it you should go to System > Administration > Printing here you have to choose New printer and from the list of available printers choose the print to PDF one and follow the wizard keeping default values.
Note: for Europe remember to set paper format to A4, otherwise the output could be messed.
